Dr. Timothy O'Connor had the opportunity to work with grief expert and author Elisabeth Kübler Ross. His experience with her during the time she started her London hospice program led him toward the field of oncology. Her compassionate care for cancer patients inspired him, and he credits her with helping him to understand the relationship between life and death.

A Ventura County native, Dr. Montes is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and served as medical director for St. Bernardine Medical Center before joining ROCVC. Fluent in Spanish and the recipient of many honors and awards, he believes in the “team approach” to cancer care, appreciates the value of knowledge, and keeps his practice at the forefront of technology.
